As a Tlingit-owned small business, HSS is also shaped by a strong connection to Alaska and a culture grounded in resilience, responsibility, and respect for the people and environments we serve. The founder’s background includes military service, commercial diving, offshore drilling, hazardous-material transportation, heavy equipment, and Arctic energy operations—experience that shaped a practical understanding of what workers actually depend on in the field.

That perspective is built into HSS.
